Arrow and Wood Log puzzle

General info[edit | edit source]

Arrow and Wood Log puzzle may seem like a nice-looking decoration but it’s actually a pretty sneaky puzzle that will give a 4-digit combination for players who are perceptive enough.

DETAILS[edit | edit source]

Arrow and Wood Log puzzle disguises itself as a decoration, like a random piece of wood. Players need to find out that it has four holes on top, with markings suggesting the order.

Players need to find an arrow (or multiple arrows) and put it in each hole, counting the carved lines that stick above the surface. Once they count the lines above each hole, they’ll get a 4-digit combination.

The puzzle is great as it’s not obvious at first glance until players find the arrows, see the slot, and have the “a-ha” moment.

Arrow and Wood Log puzzle is a stand-alone puzzle but it is also a part of our The Temple Escape Room scenario. The wood log may differ from the one in the photo.
