Hall sensor

General info[edit | edit source]

Hall sensor is an electronic variant of a standard Magnetic sensor. It’s extremely reliable and easy to fix.

The maximum load of the feeback connector is 50 mA. If you want to connect something with a higher current load, connect an external power supply - then the maximum load is 1A.

Step 1[edit | edit source]

Connect the Hall sensor to the Universal puzzle controller via included Ethernet cable.

Step 2[edit | edit source]

Connect the Universal puzzle controller to a power supply.

Step 3[edit | edit source]

Whenever the sensor detects a magnet, it becomes triggered and its red diode lights up.

Step 4[edit | edit source]

The sensing range with the included magnet is 1.6 cm (0.6 inch) through a piece of plywood (can be better with stronger magnets). Remember to hide it so players won’t see it!
