The Keypad sensor

General info[edit | edit source]

Feel like a real secret agent or a visitor in an abandoned mental hospital.  Enter the code to unlock a hidden passage, open a suitcase or trigger any other effect.

Keypad sensor can remember password from 3 to even 100 digits and you can mount it wherever you want.

The maximum load of the feeback connector is 50 mA. If you want to connect something with a higher current load, connect an external power supply - then the maximum load is 1A.

Step 1[edit | edit source]

Connect the Keypad sensor to the Universal puzzle controller via included Ethernet cable.

Step 2[edit | edit source]

Connect the Universal puzzle controller to a power supply.

Step 3[edit | edit source]

After the right code is entered and confirmed with “#”, the sensor becomes triggered and its red diode lights up. Clear the code with “*”.

To set the code:

  • enter “13372017” and confirm it with “#”,
  • enter your own code (not shorter than 3 digits),
  • confirm your code with “#” (you should hear 3 beeps).

Now the sensor is ready.

You can also set the auto-lock function:

  • enter “13372017” and confirm it with “#”,
  • enter “001” (for auto-lock ON) or “000” (for auto-lock OFF), then “*” and confirm it with “#”.

Auto-lock locks the Keypad sensor for 5 seconds

after entering an incorrect code three times.
