Knock Knock sensor

General info[edit | edit source]

Knock Knock sensor remembers a knocking pattern and triggers when it is recreated. You can set its sensitivity and the margin for error to make the puzzle easier.

The maximum load of the feeback connector is 50 mA. If you want to connect something with a higher current load, connect an external power supply - then the maximum load is 1A.

Step 1[edit | edit source]

Connect the Knock Knock sensor to the Universal puzzle controller via included Ethernet cable. Then, connect the Universal puzzle controller to a power supply.

Step 2[edit | edit source]

Fix the round part of the sensor to a surface. Remember to place the round part of the sensor in the correct position.

Step 3[edit | edit source]

Push and hold the teaching button on the sensor. Choose the mode by releasing the button after one or two blinks of the diode.

Step 4[edit | edit source]

In the first mode (one blink), the sensor listens to your knocking pattern. After you do it, push the teaching button to confirm the pattern. The sensor will play it back to you.

Step 5[edit | edit source]

Every time you recreate the pattern, the sensor becomes triggered and its red diode lights up. Use the left knob to change the Rejection Level, and the right one for the Sensitivity Level.

Step 6[edit | edit source]

In the second mode (two blinks), after the sensor detects a knock, it becomes triggered and its red diode lights up for a split second. You can use it as many times as you want.
