LED Display output set

General info[edit | edit source]

LED Display output set is a great way to help your players with a hint in the form of a number or a short message. It can switch between two modes and show up to four characters.

Step 1[edit | edit source]

First, you need to connect the LED Display’s black controller box to the included power supply.

Step 2[edit | edit source]

The LED Display has two modes. To choose one of them, hold the red button on the controller box and release it when the upper (win mode) or lower segments (armed mode) are lit up*.*If there are red dots appearing, one after another, while you are holding the red button, hold it until they disappear, then push and hold the button again.

Step 3[edit | edit source]

After the mode is chosen, press the red button to enter the programming mode.Use the red button to light on and off a segment, and press the black button to go to the next segment.

Step 4[edit | edit source]

When you finish programming the chosen mode, push and hold the black button until four red dots light up and disappear. Now the mode is saved.

Step 5[edit | edit source]

Program the other mode by repeating steps 2-4. Remember that the win mode (upper segments lit up while choosing the mode) will appear after players solve the puzzle it is connected to.

Step 6[edit | edit source]

Connect the LED Display output set to the Universal puzzle controller using the included output relay module and an Ethernet cable.

Step 7[edit | edit source]

When the Universal puzzle controller is not solved, the LED Display shows the armed mode message. Once the puzzle is solved, it changes into the win mode message.
