LED Progress sensor extension

General info[edit | edit source]

LED Progress sensor extension lets you control how long players have to trigger a sensor connected to it. The progress is shown on LED lights and you can adjust the color and saturation of the LEDs, and how long the sensor has to be triggered. The LED lights chain has 25 diodes and is included with the sensor extension.

This sensor extension requires another sensor to work properly, as well as the Universal puzzle controller and an output set.

The maximum load of the feeback connector is 50 mA. If you want to connect something with a higher current load, connect an external power supply - then the maximum load is 1A.

Step 1[edit | edit source]

Connect the LED lights chain to the LED Progress controller box.

Step 2[edit | edit source]

Plug any sensor you want to the LED Progress sensor extension (we used the RFID sensor). Then, plug the LED Progress sensor extension to the Universal puzzle controller.

Step 3[edit | edit source]

Connect a power supply to the LED Progress controller box.

Step 4[edit | edit source]

Trigger the sensor plugged into the LED Progress to light the diodes, one after another. When they are all lit, the Universal puzzle controller will consider the sensor extension as triggered.

Step 5[edit | edit source]

You can change the time needed to light all the LEDs, as well as their hue and saturation. To do this, push and hold the teaching button on the LED Progress controller box and choose programming mode presented below.

Modes[edit | edit source]

MODE 1 – DURATION

Hold the red button until the chain's first diode blinks once. Now, trigger the sensor plugged into the LED Progress for as long as you want. Every diode counts for one second. After setting the duration, hold the red button for a second to save it.

MODE 2 – HUE

Hold the red button until the first two diodes blink. Choose a color by turning the small knob on the LED Progress controller box. Hold the red button for a second to save it.

MODE 3 – SATURATION

Hold the red button until the first three diodes blink. Choose the saturation level by turning the small knob. Hold the red button for a second to save it.
